La Ca' Noeva ( New House in the local dialect), despite its name, is a house built around 200 years ago and belongs to ancient village of Gittana, a hamlet of the commune of Perledo, which is 5 minutes' drive away from the famous resort of Varenna.
La Ca' Noeva offers guests the chance to see Lake Como from a different and unique perspective, away from the usual tourist routes and yet very close to the most famous and visited places on the lake.
Here yuo will enjoy the peace of a small village and, from your room, be enchanted both by the breathtaking panorama and the fragrances that in these valleys alone prevail over the modern hustle and bustle.
All the original features of La Ca'Noeva have been perfectly preserved: its traditional terracotta tiled floors in ' cotto lombardo', the granite staircases, the ancient doors, the traditional roof tiles - all will welcome you wich an ambrace and transport you to times past. The only concessions to modernity are the bathrooms, which will provide you with a high standard of comfort.
La Ca' Noeva is situated only a few metres away from Ristorante Il Caminetto, with whom we have an agreement, and it is a most convenient place to stay for those who wish to take part in the acclaimed cooking lessons held in the restaurant.
